So yet another 'about me' page to write, to come up with that makes sense. Ha! That be a rarity for this gal. Well, what do you want to know - is anyone even looking at this blog other then me occasionally when I have something to say or share? You know, one of these days I may actually have to read a Pin rather then just add it to a board on Pinterest. lol I know there are pins about how to write a stunning 'about me' blurb but really I'm not fooling anyone that I'm so professional and business like - that's my sister!

I'm pretty laid back and easy going and I try to help far more then I can or should and it affects my mood when I help those close to me. I've always loved to make friends (people in general really but I have a funny sense of humor) laugh or smile no matter how far the foot goes into my mouth or how it makes me look. If I can get you to laugh or snort then I'm happy and uplifted. I'm hoping and praying to go back to school for Early Education January 2018 it's just a matter of finding funding, preferably not with O.S.A.P since they're giving me (and others) the run around about getting info on forgiveness. I really like kids and find it a test of restraint not to interact with the little ones when on the bus. To grow in my experience & knowledge with kids I take turns teaching the toddlers at my church and have been busy babysitting a 3yr old and a 8yr old on and off during and will be spending the summer days with the 8yr old this summer while mom is at work. Little steps.

One hour at a time. I had the rug yanked out from under me two yrs ago and it forced me to change pretty much everything about me that I had been use to for a very long time. I'm rebuilding myself my life and trying to find and do things that make me happy. Far more hard then it first sounds - trust me on that! You don't know what you have till you loose all that you thought you where.

I've always been crafty, artsy in all my very late 30 yrs and supposedly I got it from my father that always doodled little designs in the corners of paper but never anything more then that, that I've seen. I knit mostly as it's what I'm comfortable with but can crochet pretty good as long as I have access to YouTube to check when to wrap my yarn. I prefer to do crochet for toys really. I've oil painted landscape paintings and won first place in county fairs back in the day. I did two year college course for Arts & Creative Design and sew a bit but no where near that good at it. A rag quilt is the biggest thing I've ever made so far despite my church's desire to 'farm out' more rag quilts to give to those in need. I co-run a knitting ministy at my church called Knit 1 Prayer Too and we're doing a scarf, hat and mittens drive for this winter. I have 2-3 cross stitching projects on the go and I still have the sticks to stick weave.
